The Seventh International Tennis Tournament St.Petersburg Open is over.

Marat Safin has won the Singles after he defeated German Reiner Schuettler 3:6 6:3 6:3 in the final.

The Doubles were won by Yevgeny Kafelnikiv/Denis Golovanov after they overplayed Marat Safin(RUS)/ Irakli Labadze (GEO) 7:5 6:4.

At the Victory Ceremony Denis Golovanov seemed to be the happiest person - for him the title of the St.Petersburg Open has become the first at the ATP Tournament. Yevgeny Kafelnikov now has equal number of titles in Singles and in Doubles - 24 each.
